PIT Fitness is a family owned and operated personal training studio and education centre located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.  We believe everyone deserves to be invited into a safe, welcoming space no matter their experience or skill level. The focus will always be on the individual and what we can do to help you achieve success.

Meet the Team

Tyler

My name is Tyler and I’m the owner of PIT Fitness. I’m a certified personal trainer, and father to three wonderful daughters. I’ve been in the fitness industry for ten years. I spent eight of those years training and managing a large box gym.

I’ve helped clients increase their strength and confidence, change their body composition, train for competitions, and improve their overall quality of life.

My passion for fitness began when my health started to decline. I was over 365lbs, diabetic, and had sustained avoidable injuries. I knew I needed to make a change.

I dove into this new lifestyle head first. I started working out, researching nutrition and within a matter of months felt stronger and healthier. I had more energy and regular day-to-day tasks became easier.

It’s been a long journey.  I’ve had ups and downs, some days felt like constant challenges, but it was one of the best choices I have ever made.

During my journey I found powerlifting and steel mace flow. I love how each of these training styles challenge me in different ways.

Courtney

My name is Courtney and I’m the owner of PIT Fitness. I am responsible for the day-to-day operations that keep our business running smoothly. I’m also a mother to three amazing daughters.

After my youngest daughter was born nine years ago, I struggled with both my mental and physical health.  I eventually had to close my business, take time to heal myself and look at what path I wanted my life to take.

I was able to be a full-time mom, take care of my ageing in-laws, and work towards being a stronger, healthier version of myself. It is never an easy journey, but I believe the struggles we go through give us the experience we need to help others and truly listen to their stories.

My husband and I have created a wonderful partnership where people come first, and no matter what your story is we can work together to help you achieve your goals.

We will review your intake form together, go over your goals, concerns, and questions, then go through a movement assessment.

This assessment will allow us to get to know more about you, determine what program options would be best suited for you and get you set up for success!

Women's Power Hour

This class is geared towards women of all skill levels and fully adaptable to your specific needs.

 

We’ll incorporate resistance training, full body movements, accountability and the support you need to move towards your goals in a fun and welcoming environment.

 

We’ll not only focus on building strength and confidence, but a community of support and encouragement.

Mace Flow

In these sessions we will learn new skills and practice and improve upon previously learned skills.

We will practice the flow of the day, learn how to utilize the mace as a fitness tool, and have free time to practice previous learned flows.

You will work in a semiprivate setting, be provided a personalized program, and have a coach there to support you during your workouts, offer tips, corrections, modifications and guidance as needed
