PIT Fitness is a family-owned and operated private personal training studio and education centre located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. We believe effective coaching starts with understanding the individual. Through assessment-based programming, attention to technique, and thoughtful progression, we help clients build strength, improve health, and train with confidence. Our studio provides a professional, welcoming environment where clients of all backgrounds can focus on long-term progress, not quick fixes.
Meet the Team
Tyler
Tyler is the co-owner of PIT Fitness, a certified personal trainer, canfitpro PRO TRAINER and father to three daughters, with over 12 years of experience coaching a wide range of clients.
Tyler’s passion and approach to coaching is shaped by lived experience: once weighing over 365lbs, diabetic, and dealing with depression and avoidable injuries, Tyler was forced to make critical changes to take control of his life.
Through structured training, focused nutrition and prioritizing his mental health, Tyler began to rebuild his strength and overall wellbeing. Over time, his training evolved to include powerlifting, steel mace flow, and strongman – disciplines that demand technical precision, intelligent progression and self-awareness.
Today, Tyler applies that same principle-driven approach to his coaching. He specializes in assessment-based training that helps clients overcome physical and mental barriers, build strength safely, improve body composition, prepare for competition, and enhance long-term quality of life.
At PIT Fitness, Tyler’s focus is not quick fixes or random workouts, but thoughtful coaching, sound judgment, and helping clients train with confidence for years to come.

Courtney
Courtney is the co-owner and administrator of PIT Fitness. She is a canfitpro CPR PRO TRAINER and the operational backbone of the studio, ensuring every client experience reflects the values and standards PIT Fitness is known for.
After the birth of her youngest daughter, Courtney navigated both physical and mental health challenges that led her to step back from her career and focus on recovery, family, and long-term wellbeing. During this time, she was a full-time mother to her three daughters, supported aging family members, and committed herself to rebuilding strength and resilience.
Those experiences shaped Courtney’s approach to leadership and client care. She understands that progress is rarely linear, and that sustainable change requires patience, empathy, and the right support.
Today, alongside her husband Tyler, Courtney helps lead PIT Fitness with a focus on creating a professional, welcoming environment where clients feel supported, respected, and guided through a process built for long-term success.

Are you looking for a high intesity, hybrid, functional training Style class for women?
this 6-week conditioning and power-focused class is designed to build real, functional strength. It's not just about burning calories or breaking a sweat.
each session features a circuit style workout combining strength, conditioning, agility and power.
you'll rotate through purposeful stations that challenge your endurance, coordination and strength - keeping workouts engaging, efficient and results-driven.
Semi-Private Training
are you looking for a flexible, more affordable option, without sacrificing quality coaching?
You'll share the space with up to 6 people, all following an individualized program tailored to their specific needs, wants and goals.
a coach is present at every session to assist, cue, correct, and motivate. the group setting provides added accountability, community and motivation.
